FIRE-STOPPING COLLAR WITH METAL HOUSING

PS Collar is a fire-stopping collar for plastic pipes made from metal housing and intumescent wrap inside.

In terms of the fire safety of buildings, combustible pipelines made of plastic and used for various purposes pose a great danger. In the event of a fire, such unprotected pipes provide an optimal medium for the spread of fire, especially the vertical lines (chimney effect). A simple but even more effective protection is provided by the fire protection collar installed around the pipe, which expands within a short time after the outbreak of the fire to such an extent that it completely compresses and cuts the plastic pipe thanks to its special, graphite-containing filling, thus creating an obstacle to the further spread of the fire.
