FIRE CURTAINS
GSF KPR EI fire curtains are suitable for separating fire zones and fire sections in public buildings and industrial facilities. The most important advantage of GSF KPR EI fire curtains is that they do not require the construction and installation of an extinguishing system. Additional advantages of using GSF KPR EI fire curtains:
- Compact size, small space demand,
- Significantly reduced weight, lower dead load,
- Easy, simple installation,
- Low maintenance costs,
- Competitive price.
GSF KPR EI fire curtains are also available in different fire resistance classes:
EI15, EI30, EI45, EI60, EI90, EI120
E120/EW60, E120/EW30, E60/EW30
GSF KPR EI fire curtains are available with two types of controls:
- GSF KPR EI Fire curtain with electric drive
- GSF KPR EI Fire curtain with fusible switch
GSF KPR EI fire curtains consist of the following elements:
- Fire curtain,
- Guide rail system,
- Rolling shaft,
- Curtain house box,
- Bottom bar,
- Tubular motor or fusible link
Operating principle of GSF KPR EI fire curtains:
A curtain made of fire resistant material is wound around an axis and is normally held in this position. The fire curtain closes when the control system signals. The control system can be adapted to the fire alarm system in case of electric drive.
In the case of a fusible insert, due to fire/heat, the fusible insert approx. 70°C releases and the fire curtain closes by gravity.
Optional elements of GSF KPR EI fire curtains:
- Closing speed control – for fire curtains with a fusible insert.
- The guide rails and housing box can be painted in any color based on the specified RAL color chart.

FIRE PROTECTION SEPARATION GATES
The GS fire protection separation gates (vertically functioning guillotine system) are suitable for fire protection separation of loading areas in the case of conveyor belt systems. GS fire protection separation gates consist of specially designed gates and curtains of different fire resistance classes, which ensure uninterrupted operation, stop work processes in the event of a fire, and provide the necessary fire protection. GS fire protection partition doors are mostly used in industrial halls, logistics units, and warehouses.
The advantages of using GS fire protection separation gates:
- Compact size, small space requirement,
- Easy, simple installation,
- Low maintenance costs,
- Competitive price.
GS fire protection partition walls are also available in different fire resistance classes:
EI15, EI30, EI60
E120/EW60, E120/EW30
E60, E90, E120
The operating principle of GS fire protection partition walls:
When the system receives a fire alarm signal, it initiates the following procedures: immediate stoppage of all loading operations, freeing up the space needed to close fireproof doors. The process is controlled by sensors that provide continuous monitoring for the successful closing of the fire door and the movement of loads from the fire door opening, and closing fire doors to prevent the spread of fire and heat.
System elements of GS fire protection partition walls:
- Electrically operated GSF KPR fire curtain
- Horizontal single-wing sliding gate
- Horizontal double-leaf sliding gate
- Vertical sliding gate
Optional elements of GS fire protection partition walls:
The guide rails and housing box can be painted in any color based on the specified RAL color chart.
